Thanksgiving has come and gone and December rolled in with a day of snow showers! Snow is a rare sight in northern Al, so we enjoyed watching the animals and the snow. The donkeys in the back pasture shared the shed with our four llamas, giving all of them shelter from the wet snow and wind. This was the first time we have seen them actually inside together. It is nice to know they get along so well. In each pasture, the donkeys stood inside the sheds. Maybe they are true Southerners and decided it was too cold to be out! The middle of the week may bring temps in the 60's, but, at least for today we had a little touch of winter to welcome December.
